I miss the winter.

Summer’s almost here, so even the plants damaged by the cold winter (and, ahem, lack of proper care) are back.
No big message with this one; I just like the little guy.
For all practical purposes there’s an infinite number of ways you can process. Going in with a good sense of what you want to say is your best defense against endless fiddling.
Today began with a gorgeous morning. January’s almost in the bag and the weather’s warmed up to normal levels (think cool nights and warm afternoons).
Drove through some fluffy fog during my daily commute. I’m glad I grabbed a couple of photos; good days start with clicking cameras. I’m pretty happy with overpass photo. Safety warning: Steph tells me that taking pictures while driving is not safe. I agree; you may drop your camera.
I’ve taken variations of this shot over the years, fiddling with a camera while waiting for the light to turn green.
I like the winter as much as summer. The light feels cleaner, and rare opportunities (for a Southerner) present themselves. Case study: black frost.
